A permanent new body composed of independent board chairs and lead independent directors of mutual funds in the U.S. evolved from the Independent Chairs of Mutual Funds project, chaired by John Hill, Chair of Putnam Funds, in partnership with the Mutual Fund Directors Forum (MFDF) sponsored in part by the CFA Institute Centre for Financial Integrity.
